FINANCIAL POLICIES

Registration Fee
For birth clients, we charge a $400 registration fee. As a small facility, this fee reserves your spot with us and helps cover costs that are not billable to insurance. This fee may be waived for individuals on MassHealth Standard or Husky. If you cannot afford this fee, please speak to the practice manager about having it reduced or waived.

Missed Appointments
If you miss an appointment and did not contact us at least 24 hours prior to the visit, you will be assessed a $50 missed appointment charge which will needed to be paid prior to your next visit.

Classes
Prenatal and Parenting Classes cannot be billed directly to insurance. You must pay at time of registration. We do offer a sliding scale for all our classes. We are happy to provide you with a receipt you can submit to your insurance.

Nitrous Oxide
Insurance currently does not cover the use of nitrous oxide in labor. A fee of $200 is assessed if this service is requested in labor. You will be billed for this service after the birth. We also offer nitrous oxide for other in-office procedures such as IUD placements. The fee for this is $50 and must be paid at time of service.

Referrals
Some gyn services and occasionally some prenatal care requires a referral from your PCP. Nearly all PT care requires a referral. It is your responsibility to obtain a referral from your primary care or referring provider required by your insurance in order for us to initiate care with you.
